Ditchling – w/b 15.10.12

Danehill – w/b 22.10.12

Phase 2 Begins

Wow, we’ve got all 10 schools in the Cluster using a writers’ blog. From next week we’ll be rotating the focus school, starting with the writers at Danehill.

w/b 12th March – Danehill

w/b 19th March – Barcombe

w/b 26th March – Plumpton

w/b 16th April – Fletching

w/b 23rd April – Chailey

w/b 30th April – Newick

w/b 7th May – Hamsey

w/b 14th May – Ditchling

w/b 21st May  – Wivelsfield

w/b 28th May – Forest Row

Writing should be on the focus school’s blog at the start of the week, so get commenting as early in the week as is possible. This enables comments to be responded to and will help this project have the maximum impact on the children’s writing.

Phase 2 Training Complete

This morning we had the last session of training for Phase 2 of the Clusterblog Writing Project. Its been great to see schools getting together on this project over the last 6 months, and it will be really good seeing children from over the cluster sharing writing and peer marking.

On a technical level some of us have experienced a different (html) toolbar when creating new posts. Having contacted the people at Primary Blogger it seems that the solution is to refresh the cache in the browser. They provide a full guide to how to do it here. At this point it is probably a good time to remind you of the Support and Video Tutorials section in the advanced mode of the blog admin page. There are some great little videos to help if you get stuck.

Phase 2 of Clusterblog Begins

Tomorrow will see the start of training for Phase 2 of the Clusterblog with teachers from Ditchling, Wivelsfield and Hamsey coming to Barcombe for initial training.
